Winter Camp is only a month away and we are getting excited for some great trainings with Sensei Kobayashi! As our annual training camp gets closer, we’ve made some updates to the schedule to include more classes on Saturday, January 28th.

Congratulations to our dojo members who participated in the 2016 Nationals, Collegiate and Goodwill Championship tournament this past weekend in New Orleans, LA! Here are the results of our team members:

Last month we had yet another successful beach practice, in celebration of our founding. We met at the Crandon Park Beach at 8 a.m. for training, and then spent the day playing baseball, grilling and celebrating with our dojo members. Once again, our friends at Fandango Pictures beautifully captured this event.
Miami Shotokan recently attended the 2016 National Training Camp hosted by JKA/AF, and enjoyed the opportunity to train with guest instructor, Koichiro Okuma, 6th Dan JKA.
The camp, held in New Orleans, covered a variety of trainings over the weekend of June 9th, 2016. Our dojo members greatly appreciated the opportunity to learn and train with our fellow KarateKas from other dojos.
